Pixel Lineage Tier List: Picks for Your Play Style
For a first run, start with Warrior’s easier timing. For an established hero, choose the class and passives that fit the repeated actions in your build. These are role-based recommendations, not measured universal DPS rankings.

Start with the task, then the build
| Your next task | Class to compare | Race / talent to look at | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Learn the first Normal run | Warrior | Dwarf or Ashborn; Survivor | Easy attack timing plus durability makes learning the priority. |
| Play a Magic build | Mage | Vesper or Celestine; Arcane Spark | Magic bonuses and opening Energy support spell turns. |
| Keep a group healthy | Bard | Seraph; a survival talent | Songs and opening support serve a party task. |
| Use physical multi-hit skills | Fist | Stonekin; a combat talent | The racial Fist bonus directly matches the action kit. |
| Explore critical attacks | Thief or Archer | Celestine; Keen Eye | Match critical bonuses to the attacks you actually use. |
| Gain mastery or resources | Any comfortable class | Human / Quick Study or Goblin / Fortune’s Favor | Growth and farming bonuses solve different goals from battle survival. |
Why there is no single fixed winner
This comparison uses attack-timing difficulty, class role and the passive’s applicable benefit. It does not use invented scores, unpublished damage tests or assumed evolution costs.
A rare offensive roll cannot compensate for a timing prompt you consistently miss. A support passive matters more with allies, while gold or mastery bonuses matter when that is the goal of the run. Decide on that goal before rerolling.
Recheck evolved races after the update
Race Evolution and the new equipment powers can change a mature build. Check the evolved race effect and the scaling shown in the Skills and Build tabs. The update captions describe those panels.
Use a comfortable starting class to learn, then compare the branch’s actual skills at the shrine. The class reference lists all six base roles and their Super families; the progression guide handles Sigils and Tomes.
