HERO REFERENCE / PIXEL LINEAGE

Pixel Lineage Races: Passives and Evolution

Keep a race that supports the actions your hero uses. Race Evolution makes the evolved effect relevant too; an old rarity ranking alone is not enough to choose a build.

Race passive reference

These base effects are reported in the October 13 community race reference. Evolution adds or changes benefits, so compare the live evolved panel separately. Dullahan’s Headless Ride uses the higher of Attack or Magic, deals fifty percent extra damage to foes at thirty percent HP or lower, and may Weaken them for two turns.

Keep or spin?

For a first Normal run, a compatible passive gives an immediate benefit while another spin only offers a chance at a replacement. Human’s progression bonuses can help a new hero even when an endgame ranking places it lower.

OyO’s beginner example rolls Vesper and connects it to Mage. The same guide highlights Nightborne’s attack healing, but later patch balance and evolution can change the comparison. Start with your class and the activity, then use the table to identify a useful fit.

How Race Evolution changes the decision

The update walkthrough identifies Heartblood as the evolution material and discusses Heirlooms as additional race-related progression drops. It places early Heartblood in Nightmare and higher progression in Torment.

Read the evolution panel before using the material. Compare the base passive with the evolved effect; a race whose evolved bonuses suit Magic may become much more useful to a Mage than a base-only ranking suggests. Dungeon drops and auctions are separate acquisition paths in the update guide.

Where to check roll odds

Use the current in-game race chance panel when budgeting spins. Published pre-evolution percentages may omit the Halloween race, so this page does not treat the old thirteen-race distribution as the current full pool. Race spins and talent spins are different resources.
